Friends of German Culture Annual Picnic
The Board of Directors of the Friends of German Culture would like to invite all its
Members, Guests and Friends to our annual 2010 Picnic
at the Monte Sano Club Pool Pavilion on Monte Sano Mountain
Date: Friday, August 6, 2010
Time: 6 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Monte Sano Club Pool - Georgietta Drive (off Mae Drive), Huntsville, AL
Catering: This year our PICNIC will again be catered by the Redstone Arsenal Officers and Civilian Club courtesy of Mr. Robert Schumann-General Manager.
Menu: There will be a buffet which will feature the following entrées: German Sausages (Bratwurst and Knackwurst), Red Cabbage, German Potato Salad, Broetchen, Butter and Apple Strudel for dessert. Beverages consist of Ice Tea and Water. If you prefer to drink wine, beer or other beverages not provided by the caterer, you are welcome to bring them to the function for your own consumption.
Cost Per Person: $19.00 (Children under 12 - $12.00). There is a $2.00 fee for Non Members of the Monte Sano Club of which $1.00 is included in the price and the other $1.00 will be paid by the FOGC treasury.
RSVP: It is important that the Redstone Officers' Club have a final count no later than Saturday, July 31. Please send your check for the picnic to Gertrude Nein (FOGC Treasurer) at 1528 Chandler Road, Huntsville AL 35801 prior to that date.
Note: If your Friends of German Culture DUES have not been paid for 2010 or earlier, please include a check for your ANNUAL DUES to the Friends of German Culture (Students-$ 6.00, Singles- $ 8.00, Couples $ 14.00, and Corporate-$ 15.00). (Last year dues were paid is on mailing label.)
** Due to summer commitments, our Wine and Cheese Function will be held at a date, yet to be determined, after the picnic.
